It was tough for us to end up with this list of winners due to all the incredible entries. I am excited about the future of songwriting based on everyone’s entries. These songs had that extra little bit of craft when it came to the lyric and melody and story development to earn them a spot in our winners circle along with our grand prize winning song “There’s Still Time” The Grand Prize winner Britt Warner earned a year membership of MRC and each finalist earned a 1-1 zoom call with me to talk about their goals and the music industry. For the writers/songs that did not become a finalist that does not mean your song was bad or poorly crafted, these songs were just better today.
